(Stillness in the Storm Editor) Here is an article that gives a brief overview of Pythagoras and the mathematical relationships found in nature that relate to the human body. This is a vast topic but it can be simply summarized with the hermetic principle of correspondence, which says: As above; so below. As within; so without.

The microcosm, when envisioned correctly, can be measured as relationships that correspond to the golden mean ratio of 1.618. The human body is harmonic or organize proportionally to the Earth, falling into golden mean ratio relationships.

For more on this fascinating topic, and how the ancients, as well as modern day builders, seemed to express these relationships in architecture, see the following related link to a documentary called Secrets in Plain Sight.

There is also a second article that covers sacred geometry and the Fibonacci series. It includes a presentation that details much of the premises involved in describing a universe based on consciousness as a simulated or matrix reality, currently promulgated under the notion of a universe based on computer code, the simulation hypothesis.

I offered a discussion between simulation theory and the consciousness universe in the below article.

Pythagoras was a Greek philosopher, mathematician and founder of Pythagoreanism. He was also a high ranking member in many mystery schools and secret societies, including the Egyptian Priesthood and The Order Of The Magi. Pythagoreanism is a religious movement in which he attempted to merge education, science, and religion in perfect unity.

The Pythagorean School consisted of nine temples for the different subjects which included- geometry, music, astronomy, philosophy, medicine, politics and especially mathematics.

His esoteric teachings were guarded closely and more secretively, candidates were given a probationary period to pass through. This was used to test their mental capabilities and their ability to maintain secrecy.

Those who passed through this process were initiated into a select brotherhood in which they pursued religious and ascetic practices he had developed. This group were called Esoterici—The Esoteric.

Pythagoras, Phidias, and Fibonacci are all names that come up in association to the golden ratio, Phi or the Fibonacci sequence. But Pythagoras was the first to use it on a musical scale.

According to legend, Pythagoras discovered musical tones when he walked passed a blacksmiths and was captured by the sounds emanating from inside. He thought the harmonies could be translated into a mathematical equation. He later went into the blacksmiths and learned how the sounds were made by observing their tools. He realised that the hammers had simple ratios to each other, one hammer was half the size of the first, another was 2/3 the size, and so on. This story cannot be validated, however it is fascinating to think that one of the most (if not the most) significant music scales were discovered in this way.

The Fibonacci sequence is the number sequence 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13 and so on to infinity. This mathematical formula is found by adding up the two numbers before it in the sequence 0+1=1 1+1=2 1+2=3 2+3=5 and so on. The space between these numbers gives us the golden ratio of 1.618.

This sequence unifies the properties of space, time, light, gravity and our genetic makeup within our DNA code. Our faces have this ratio and so do our bodies, you can find this ratio in our upper arm to lower arm and upper leg to lower leg. Even our brains are constructed with this ratio, as in our pineal gland (which is thought to be the seat of the souls in many teachings) spiraling with this magical formula. Our pineal gland also produces melatonin and DMT which is thought to cause dreams and spiritual states.

This ratio exists within flower petals, trees, seeds, natural foods, shells, the galaxies in the universe, it is truly the mathematical language of the universe.

Given the significance of this, you may be able to see why listening to music tuned at this frequency could be a good thing. You can view more information about Pythagorean tuning and in specific the frequency of 432Hz in the video below.

Fibonacci 60 Repeating Pattern

The last digit of the numbers in the Fibonacci Sequence form a pattern that repeats after every 60th number:

Lucien Khan arranged these 60 digits of the pattern in a circle, as shown in illustration below:

Here he found other interesting results:
  • The zeros align with the 4 cardinal points on a compass.
  • The fives align with the 8 other points of the 12 points on a clock.
  • Except for the zeros, the number directly opposite each number adds to 10.
Lucien postulates that ancient knowledge of these relationships contributed to the development of our modern use of 60 minutes in an hour, and presentation of numbers on the face of the clock.
I found too that any group of four numbers that are 90 degrees from each other (15 away from each other in the circle) sum to 20, except again for the zeros. As an example, use 1, 7, 9 and 3, which appear one to the right of each of the compass points.
Additionally, every group of five numbers that define the points of the 12 pentagons on the circle also create a pattern. Four of the pentagons have even-numbered last digits of 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8. The remaining eight pentagons have odd-numbered last digits of 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Another interesting pattern yet was observed by Lucien Khan: The 216th number is this sequence is 619220451666590135228675387863297874269396512. The sum of all the digits in that number add up to 216, as well. He notes that it is believed that the secret or hidden name of God contains 216 characters. There are many other fascinating relationships and sacred geometries, which are presented by Lucien Khan in more detail at the links below.
